Quimby is an iconic band in Hungarian popular music. With their lyrics that are grotesque, humorous and bitterly optimistic all at the same time, their alternative rock songs capture the mood of young people after the fall of communism and a westernising world of Hungary as it opened its borders, sometimes losing its illusions, sometimes regaining them.

A Ringató foglalkozásokon megismertetjük a kisgyermekes családokkal a zenei nevelés lehetőségeit. Célunk, hogy a szülők és a gyerekek átéljék a közös éneklés és játék élményét. Várunk mindenkit, aki maga is úgy érzi, fontos az, hogy a művészet eszközeivel neveljünk, aki szívesen énekel, bővíti a dalkincsét, vagy éppen önmaga bátortalan az éneklésben.

My Country is a cycle of six symphonic poems by the renowned Czech composer Bedřich Smetana, rooted in his love for his homeland. It is a celebration of the beauties of Czech nature, major national legends, and in part actual historical events as well.

Hinta, hinta, tündérhinta, repül, szárnyal a magasba… Ha az ember hintába ül, rokon lesz a madarakkal, szivárványszín pillangókkal, kitágul a láthatára, a lentet a fent leváltja. Aztán újra ringat a hinta, fel – le – fel -le, ahogy egykor anya karja. Félelmek és szorongások huss eltűnnek, elrepülnek. A tündérhinták táncosokkal nagyon egy húron pendülnek.

The most renowned ensemble in Slovakia – the Slovak DanceTheatre (SDT) – whose productions have been presented worldwide from New York to Tokyo, is set to appear in Budapest for the very first time with the premiere of itslatest production, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”

A programban moldvai és gyimesi népzene és néptáncok, énekes népi játékok, népmesék, a legkisebbek számára ölbeli játékok és kézművesség szerepelnek. 2026. februárjában a Duna Táncműhely új bemutatóval jelentkezik A hetedik címen, amelyet a társulat művészeti vezetője, Juhász Zsolt koreografál és rendez hét fiatal néptáncossal közös műhelymunkában. A közös munkát kezdeményező táncosok száma ihlette a koreográfust arra, hogy József Attila A hetedik c. versét tegye meg a darab alapjává, ugyanakkor az alkotás erősen inspirálódik a hetes szám általánosabb szimbolikájából is.

A Győri Balett előadása a világirodalom egyik leghíresebb románca, az Anna Karenina táncszínházi adaptációja, amelyet Velekei László Seregi- és Harangozó-díjas koreográfus állított színpadra. A Tolsztoj klasszikus művén alapuló koreográfia középpontjában Anna, a tragikus sorsú asszony áll, az ő szenvedélyes szerelmét, vívódásait és anticipált bukását ülteti át együttesünk a tánc nyelvére.

A storm, a terrible windstorm, a hurricane sweeps the characters into space (into the present? into reality?) and then carries them even further (back to the past or perhaps into the future?), but they falter and cling (to what? each other? their memories? their desires?) and try to stay, want to stay (where? where are we exactly?).

Two bodies meet at one point. This point is now common. Two bodies, two people meet at this common point. They are touched. Being touched is like getting into something exceptionally sensitive, intimate, deep. In this moment, something really important, something essential happens. Something inside moves and changes.

The aim of FrenÁk’s Nostalg_Y is not to reminisce about a specific age group or to make the audience cry, but to engage the audience in an intellectual and emotional game of association, where no one knows exactly who will become what, but where imagination can help everyone create a story that fits their expectations. Through randomly colliding, interconnected fragments, we gain insight into what human relations are hidden in the interactions between different generations: for example, between two young individuals who carry their older selves within them and two older characters who carry the consequences of the decisions made by their younger selves.

This all-art performance invites you to an interactive journey. Bees guide the little spectators through meadows, forests, swamps and deserts. In this way, the children cannot only be spectators but also participants and actors in the story, which is about saving bees.

A 20 éves fennállását ünneplő Gangaray Dance Company legújabb produkciója, a Down, egy misztikus utazásra invitálja a nézőket az érzelmek mélységeibe. A történet nélküli darab a zene erejével ragadja magával a közönséget, a Gangaray Experimental Music hipnozikus dallamai pedig megelevenednek a táncművészek lenyűgöző mozdulataiban. A női energia által vezérelt koreográfia a Gangaray védjegyévé vált lendülettel és eleganciával repíti a nézőket egy különleges élménybe.

A Spartacus a történelem egyik legmegrendítőbb történetét kelti életre a tánc nyelvén: az aréna porában emberek álltak egymással szemben s nemcsak egymással, hanem a Világgal, a Hatalommal és a Sorssal szemben is.

A Six Out of Seven újragondolja a hét főbűnt és a velük szemben álló erényeket, mint egy gyász által formált belső tájat.

The Faces of Love is deeply rooted in three iconic works by Sándor Márai: Embers, Esther’s Inheritance, and Divorce in Buda. These works are significant not only for their literary value, but also for the way in which they masterfully and sensitively portray the deepest and most complex layers of the relationship between men and women, which are relevant in all times and cultures. The performance uses this rich emotional and philosophical background to stage the universal story of love in three distinct, yet intertwined images, with the help of live music and Márai’s poems.

The adventurous story of Pinocchio, the wooden puppet who became a human, is a fairy tale that is known almost everywhere in the world, both by adults and children.

Inspired by the songs of Kossuth and Jászai Mari Prize winner Judit Halász, the performance of the Central Europe Dance Theatre company is aimed at preschoolers and young school children.

The story of Hansel and Gretel is both about growing up and about taking responsibility and standing up for ourselves and our loved ones. The story encourages children to set off on their own explorations, even in the realms of their own imagination. In fairy tales, all difficulties can be overcome—not only the real ones, but also the dangers created by an overly anxious imagination.
