Tango was born more than a century ago, but it still lives, attracts and thrills. The secret may lie in us: everything around us is changing at a stormy pace, but our basic emotions, our longing for love, passion, human relationships, touch, embrace and harmony are eternal. In tango, only the music and style have changed, the essence has remained, and with its help, these desires and emotions can be brought to the surface for everyone, and can be experienced intensively.

The evoked era in the performance coincides with the time of the original premiere of Swan Lake. At the same time the second half of the 19th century was also a period known for the spreading of mental hospitals; patients 'possessed' by animal spirits and treatments of mental illnesses by torture and other bizarre methods.
Kizökkent az idő…, ahogy Shakespeare-nél szokott. De, míg Hamlet azzal a bizonyossággal lép a színpadra, hogy általa még helyretolható – Lear az első pillanatban elveszti a csatát. Nem fokozatosan fog széthullani; az egykori nagy király és magabiztos férfi egyetlen pillanat alatt semmisül meg, amikor imádott felesége sírba száll. Darabbéli útja innen csak tántorgás a végső nyughely felé. Hangulat ingadozásai, átkai, dührohamai, de még kétségbeesett kapaszkodási kísérlete is lányaiba – mind a pótolhatatlan űrrel magyarázhatók. Képtelen tovább a kormányzásra; így válik a birodalom felosztása kényszerűvé. Nincs előre eltervezettség és racionális döntés, csak kapkodó improvizálás.
