Romance
Velekei László 2013-ban dolgozott először Kodály Zoltán műveire, így született meg a nagysikerű KODÁLY című darabunk. Ezt újragondolva alkotta meg a világhírű zeneszerző munkásságának minden szegletéből hasító Romance című koreográfiáját, tisztelegve ezzel a magyar zenetudós, zeneoktató és népzenekutató előtt.

Compared to Swan Lake, the well-known version of the classical ballet, I wished to rephrase the piece from another aspect, in a different light. In my interpretation, Siegfried is a young man with a split mind, who is being held captive by the traumas of his childhood as a result of his relationship with his mother.
Humanity has grown too distant from its original, natural environment. While we yearn for a more harmonious existence, we are surrounded by more and more chaos every day, making it increasingly difficult to find our way around and live a healthy life.
Two deceptively similar suitcases end up in the wrong hands. That is how the characters embark on an adventurous journey full of complications, misunderstandings, and comic situations, where no one is quite who they seem to be. In the confusion, the threads become fatally tangled. To further complicate their relationships, the journey traps the characters in a single room. The girls become friends with each other, and the boys seek the company of the girls and then each other in their own individual ways.
