Act 1: Sirius

The Sirius piece was inspired by Árpád Tóth’s poem From Soul to Soul, which uses the metaphor of the distance of the stars to depict the difficulties of connecting with each other. The title refers to the brightest star in the night sky, Sirius, which symbolises control and hope alongside the unknown distance. The play explores the challenges of bridging distances and the contrast between light and darkness, while seeking an answer to Árpád Tóth's question: “Is Sirius farther away from me or one of my companions, oh, who can tell?”

Act 2: Fine Day

Fine Day focuses on the personal stories of young dance artists, through which they work through the challenges of their inner world and the world around them, accompanied by electronic music by Előd Abonyi. The title of the piece is inspired by Jane’s 1983 song It’s a Fine Day and aims to capture the experiences and qualities of Generation Z, and the hope for an ever brighter tomorrow.

Our offer

Lacus Pelso: the Latin name for Lake Balaton.

We get an insight into the ritual-filled life of barbarian settlement trying to seek out a living on the ruins of a civilisation and fighting for survival, fighting with their fears, trying to live through all things fate brings on to them.

„...a Héttorony mélyében fekszik a mérhetetlen kincs, melynek a Barát az őre; bizonyos éjeken látni őt völgyeket áthágó lépéssel, fejével a holdig felérve járni, s a kincshöz vivő kulcsokat kinálgatni. Ezen kincs magába foglalja mind azt, mi az isteni magyarföldön csak lelhető: aranyfákat, gyümölcsöt, szöllőgerezdeket, mindennemű állatot, bor helyett, iható folyékony aranyat, arany tyúkokat, hasonló tojást költve, arany köveket….” Ipolyi Arnold
