Bayadere is a ballet imbued with an idealized exoticism both in the melodramatic plot and in the overall aesthetics. But he expresses - in his most famous scene The Kingdom of Shadows - a vision that goes beyond the context and that opens up to a landscape of pure movement, abstract and lucid in its formal simplicity.

Humanity has grown too distant from its original,natural environment. While we yearn for a more harmonious existence, we are surrounded by more and more chaos every day, making it increasingly difficult to find our way around and live a healthy life.
