Passage– Beethoven VII. szimfónia
A Győri Balett legújabb bemutatója a Passage címet kapta, mely átkelést, átmenetet, folyamatot jelent. Velekei László koreográfus alkotása az ’úton levés’ metaforáját járja körül, az egyes élethelyzetek közötti átkelés, az átmenet szimbóluma teremti meg a táncmű strukturális egységét.
A darab az uniformizálódás kritikája, középpontba állítva az embert, egy lányt, aki nem akar részt venni az őt környező társadalom képmutató viselkedésében, de nincs elég ereje önmagáért kiállni sem. Velekei alkotása rávilágít az emberi természet kettősségére, az önkifejezés és rejtőzködés ellentmondásosságára…
A Passage szimfonikus balett, amely inkább érzelmeket és gondolatokat közvetít; a leheletfinomságú történet pedig közelebb hozza a nézőt a koreográfusi koncepció megértéséhez.
Bolero
A Bolero-t 2012-ben készítette Lukács András a Wiener Staatsballett részére, Ravel ismert zenéjéhez félve nyúlt kezdetben: Nem szerettem volna epigon lenni és nem a szokványos férfi-nő viszonyra, szenvedélyre, érzéki szálra kihegyezni a ,,történetet”. Az én Bolero-m cselekmény nélküli darab, tíz női és tíz férfi táncosra, akik azonos jelmezben, hatalmas fekete szoknyában táncolva próbálnak egy monumentális, hideg hangvételű, sötét báli jelenetet érzékeltetni."

Transylvania Express is a selection of Transylvanian dances and music. With this performance, we want to convey the message that traditional culture lives on in all of us who believe in the value of keeping tradition alive—because tradition defines our future!
Humanity has grown too distant from its original, natural environment. While we yearn for a more harmonious existence, we are surrounded by more and more chaos every day, making it increasingly difficult to find our way around and live a healthy life.
Zsófia Pirók was the first Hungarian to earn a degree in flamenco dance from the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza in Seville. Her performances have been featured both in Hungarian and in international theatres and tablaos. In 2019, she was awarded the title Best Dancer of the Season from the Association of Hungarian Dance Artists. Her premieres are part of the programme at the National Dance Theatre Budapest, where she represents the highest level of the art of flamenco in Hungary.
