Minden előadáson egy-egy hívószót vagy témát körbejárva idézik meg a tánc- és zenetörténet legendás alakjait, megkerülhetetlen mesterműveit és lebilincselő történeteit.
Egzotikus tájakon barangolunk, legendák és botrányok nyomába eredünk, érzéki kalandokat leplezünk le és mesélünk titkos kedvenceinkről is… ám ez még csak néhány a sok izgalmas felfedezés közül, amelyekkel a zenei- és táncrészletekkel gazdagon illusztrált estekre készülünk a publikum számára.

The aim of FrenÁk’s Nostalg_Y is not to reminisce about a specific age group or to make the audience cry, but to engage the audience in an intellectual and emotional game of association, where no one knows exactly who will become what, but where imagination can help everyone create a story that fits their expectations. Through randomly colliding, interconnected fragments, we gain insight into what human relations are hidden in the interactions between different generations: for example, between two young individuals who carry their older selves within them and two older characters who carry the consequences of the decisions made by their younger selves.
Yvette Bozsik’s solo performance was inspired by Mineko Iwasaki, the protagonist of Memoirs of a Geisha. The performance takes viewers into the lonely, secretive, and personal world of Women of Dance and Art, the memoir of an elderly dancer who always danced with her whole soul. Yvette Bozsik’s iconic partner, Tamás Vati, also features in the performance, which reveals the inner work of a dancer’s self-knowledge, rituals, inner vibrations, and secrets in the triple unity of body, soul, and spirit. Yvette Bozsik’s solo performance was inspired by the autobiography Geisha of Gion by Mineko Iwasaki, the protagonist of the world-famous book and film Memoirs of a Geisha.
What we present is not the story of Kahlo’s life but an independent visual theatre vision inspired by her art and career about a dramatic but also colourful and lively world.
