Maga a megtestesült ambivalencia: sem angyali, sem démonikus, nem tartozik sem az istenek, sem az állatok közé, mindkettőnél emberszerűbb, de nem is ember, idős férfi és fiatal, erotikus atléta, harsányan vidám és teátrálisan patetikus egyszerre, a vaskos tréfák mellett veszélyes, cinikus és kegyetlen romboló, komikus, de hordozza a hős komolyságát is, aki mindeközben gyerekes mértékben függ saját vágyaitól...
Lényünk sötét oldalát igyekszünk elfojtani, ám hatásától nem tudunk szabadulni, ezért inkább a külvilágba vetítjük – ő a trickster archetípusa, mely saját árnyékunkat szólítja meg. Bennünk is megvan, ezért vonz minket annyira.
