A boldogságra való törekvés, megélés minden ember számára fontos. Vörösmarty Mihály klasszikus költeménye ezúttal új nyelven, mai környezetben kel életre, ahol a szerelmesek egyre mélyebbre merészkednek a képzelet és a fantázia birodalmában. A beteljesüléshez próbákat kell kiállniuk, a történetben megjelenő akadályok, kudarcok szimbólumaként Mirígy, a boszorkány ármánykodásaival kell szembenézniük, aki megpróbálja megakadályozni boldogságukat.

Our offer
Compared to Swan Lake, the well-known version of the classical ballet, I wished to rephrase the piece from another aspect, in a different light. In my interpretation, Siegfried is a young man with a split mind, who is being held captive by the traumas of his childhood as a result of his relationship with his mother.
What we present is not the story of Kahlo’s life but an independent visual theatre vision inspired by her art and career about a dramatic but also colourful and lively world.
The Faces of Love is deeply rooted in three iconic works by Sándor Márai: Embers, Esther’s Inheritance, and Divorce in Buda. These works are significant not only for their literary value, but also for the way in which they masterfully and sensitively portray the deepest and most complex layers of the relationship between men and women, which are relevant in all times and cultures. The performance uses this rich emotional and philosophical background to stage the universal story of love in three distinct, yet intertwined images, with the help of live music and Márai’s poems.
