Zsófia Pirók was the first Hungarian to earn a degree in flamenco dance from the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza in Seville. Her performances have been featured both in Hungarian and in international theatres and tablaos. In 2019, she was awarded the title Best Dancer of the Season from the Association of Hungarian Dance Artists. Her premieres are part of the programme at the National Dance Theatre Budapest, where she represents the highest level of the art of flamenco in Hungary.
Compared to Swan Lake, the well-known version of the classical ballet, I wished to rephrase the piece from another aspect, in a different light.
