A flamenco hasonlóan többágú műfaj, akárcsak a jazz. A három fő pillér ének-gitár-tánc kommunikációján alapszik, mely képes befogadni más hangszereket és stílusokat.
Azért válik oly izgalmassá és minden alkalom egyedivé,mert végig jelen van az improvizációs játék lehetősége. A táncos nemcsak előadója, hanem mozdulataival, lábkopogásával rejtett karmestere és alkotója is a kották nélküli műnek.
A flamenco ősi tradíciókból táplálkozó, modern művészeti ág, mely a jelen kor meghatározó és kiemelkedő műfaja. Ez a rejtélyesnek tűnő világ most virágkorát éli, melyet hazánkban a FlamenCorazónArte Táncszínház táncművészei és koreográfusai, anya és lánya, Lippai Andrea és Pirók Zsófia hiánypótló módon képviselnek.

Zsófia Pirók was the first Hungarian to earn a degree in flamenco dance from the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza in Seville. Her performances have been featured both in Hungarian and in international theatres and tablaos. In 2019, she was awarded the title Best Dancer of the Season from the Association of Hungarian Dance Artists. Her premieres are part of the programme at the National Dance Theatre Budapest, where she represents the highest level of the art of flamenco in Hungary.
