If we have run out of words, how can we communicate with our movements? What meanings can we attach to a hug or a slap? What is it like when we puppeteer someone? And what if we are being puppeteered? What happens when we want to move on our own?

Who doesn't know the story of Cinderella, which starts out sad but end up as a happily ever after. Attila Emődi, a young creator and dance artist at GG Dance Eger, uses the well-known story and placed it in a contemporary-modern genre. It uses the widest possible range of theatrical tools and visuals to raise the quality of the performance together with its spectacular set.
The Faces of Love is deeply rooted in three iconic works by Sándor Márai: Embers, Esther’s Inheritance, and Divorce in Buda. These works are significant not only for their literary value, but also for the way in which they masterfully and sensitively portray the deepest and most complex layers of the relationship between men and women, which are relevant in all times and cultures. The performance uses this rich emotional and philosophical background to stage the universal story of love in three distinct, yet intertwined images, with the help of live music and Márai’s poems.
