A box can hide many things, especially if we can passthrough it into another, fairy-tale, magical dimension. The protagonist of the piece tries to make friends in a game world and meets various puppets. He learns that they have the same emotions, the same bonds and relationships develop between them as if they were people, and maybe he can even fall in love with one of them.

The production takes us to a magical world to which we all want to escape for a while from everyday life. Inspired by this fabulous, fantastic Russian ballet, the music of the children's performance Magic World isprovided by Ottorino Respighi, orchestrating Rossini's piano works. We can have an adventure in the fairy-tale world of our imagination. The performance draws on many classical ballet experiences, from Tchaikovsky's classic of classics, The Nutcracker, as the puppets in the box come to life, to Giselle, the world of fairy tales, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Firebird and The Sleeping Beauty ballets.

The Faces of Love is deeply rooted in three iconic works by Sándor Márai: Embers, Esther’s Inheritance, and Divorce in Buda. These works are significant not only for their literary value, but also for the way in which they masterfully and sensitively portray the deepest and most complex layers of the relationship between men and women, which are relevant in all times and cultures. The performance uses this rich emotional and philosophical background to stage the universal story of love in three distinct, yet intertwined images, with the help of live music and Márai’s poems.
