As a continuation of the Dancing Spring, the performance titled Winter Dance expands the folklore calendar of the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble for a whole year – in response to how our ethnographic treasure can be introduced to young people in an entertaining and spectacular way. And the winter holiday season, from harvest to carnival, is definitely suitable for pointing out that there was love, plenty of fun and much more also before technological development.Performed by Hungarian National Dance Ensemble and Band Script by Zsuzsa Zs. When two people meet, values, customs, traditions, and languages always come together. Expectations. The compulsion to meet other’s expectations. I have to make room within myself for the other person, who can only find meaning within me according to my own rules and my own axis of experience. That is how my own existence is reinterpreted in the other.
