A Test est négy nagyobb téma köré rendeződik. Ezek, az alázat, emberség, intimitás,
és reprezentáció. Az alázat, és emberség fontos attribútumai a kreációs folyamatnak,
ami igyekszik részrehajlás nélkül, elfogulatlanul az önreflexió terében mozogni. Míg
az intimitás mezején való létezés gyakorlása azért elengedhetetlen, hogy szabadon,
szégyenérzet, félelem, vagy önös szándék nélkül engedhessük magunkat látni. Az
előadás pedig a reprezentáció.

A lélek sötét éjszakája című műve szolgál az előadás gondolatmagjaként, melyben az Istennel való misztikus egység megélése után hirtelen Isten jelenlétének teljes hiányát tapasztalja meg a lélek.
A káoszban rekedt egyén sorsa foglalkoztat: hol húzódik meg a határ az elmebetegnek és a normálisnak címkézett emberek között?

EXISTENCE is a tango dance theatre work that follows along the journey of human life—from the drifting impetus of youth to the quiet insight of old age. This journey is born in the tango, in the intimacy of the embrace, through the deep connection between the soul and the body.
Yvette Bozsik’s solo performance was inspired by Mineko Iwasaki, the protagonist of Memoirs of a Geisha. The performance takes viewers into the lonely, secretive, and personal world of Women of Dance and Art, the memoir of an elderly dancer who always danced with her whole soul. Yvette Bozsik’s iconic partner, Tamás Vati, also features in the performance, which reveals the inner work of a dancer’s self-knowledge, rituals, inner vibrations, and secrets in the triple unity of body, soul, and spirit. Yvette Bozsik’s solo performance was inspired by the autobiography Geisha of Gion by Mineko Iwasaki, the protagonist of the world-famous book and film Memoirs of a Geisha.
The Faces of Love is deeply rooted in three iconic works by Sándor Márai: Embers, Esther’s Inheritance, and Divorce in Buda. These works are significant not only for their literary value, but also for the way in which they masterfully and sensitively portray the deepest and most complex layers of the relationship between men and women, which are relevant in all times and cultures. The performance uses this rich emotional and philosophical background to stage the universal story of love in three distinct, yet intertwined images, with the help of live music and Márai’s poems.
