Jézus tanításai szerint a békéhez vezető út a megbocsátás útja: aki képes megbocsátani az ellene vétkezőnek, az békére lel. Ezt a krisztusi tanítást igyekszik követni a három betlehemi pásztor is, akik személyesen köszönthették a Megváltót születése éjszakáján. De vajon hogyan érvényesíthető a békére való törekvés erkölcsi parancsa a valóságban? Az előadás nem kevesebbre vállalkozik, minthogy
továbbszövi a három betlehemi pásztor történetét. Mi történt, miután hazatértek a kisded Jézus jászolából? Hogyan őrizték meg a békét lelkükben, Betlehemben és széles e világon?

The curtain rises, soft jazz music plays in the dim, smoke-filled light. The sound of a solo trumpet instantly captivates everyone in the bar. It is night-time.
